Oud player, singer, and composer Imad Dalal, co-conductor of the al-Maghribia Orchestra from Maʿalot-Tarshiha, returns to the Oud Festival – this time with a new and unique personal project: a quintet performing a selection of his instrumental works. The program includes original works from diverse genres, alongside free improvisations in varying maqams. Dalal, who began composing at the age of 16, was the youngest composer to write songs in Arabic for Kol Israel radio, alongside the late Zuzu Musa. Today, he is considered one of the most innovative composers in Arabic music, both instrumental and vocal, and conducts many orchestras in this genre.
