      2025 International Oud Festival
      Bustan Abraham Quartet

The Bustan Abraham band is reuniting for a special performance in honor of the festival. The band, a pioneer in musical collaboration between Jews and Arabs in Israel, developed a unique style that combined musical traditions from the Middle East with Western elements, a fusion that profoundly influenced the international world music scene. During its activity, from 1990 to 2003, the band recorded seven albums, performed at festivals around the world, and collaborated with many international musicians, from Zakir Hussain to Achinoam Nini and Ömer Faruk Tekbilek. In 2012, three of the band’s founders, Zohar Fresco, Taiseer Elias, and Amir Milstein, reunited, and together with Haggai Cohen-Milo, they continue the band’s journey with innovative creations that build fascinating bridges between different cultures.
