Israeli troubadour Ehud Banai presents his original and beloved songs in a new, bluesy suit, adding his own versions of blues songs he particularly loves, those that express his inner world. As a singer-songwriter in the blues tradition, Banai is a storyteller who reveals emotion and humanity mixed with sadness and a wink, echoing protest from across Israeli society and bringing together influences from Eastern, Western, and African music. The performance will feature Israeli rock legend Shalom Hanoch, a sensitive poet and imaginative composer who knows how to move between delicacy and intimacy and energetic, fiery rock and roll. He will be accompanied by his longtime musical partner, pianist and arranger Moshe Levi.
