Oud player, singer and composer Charlie Sabach will perform with the Sabachs – his two guitarist sons, Ilan Dor Sabach on Spanish guitar and Yair Sabach on acoustic guitar. They will be joined by percussionist Yaakov Lev Sameach in a special performance for the Oud Festival. The Sabachs will present a selection of Charlie Sabach’s works, weaving together elements of classical Arabic music, flamenco, Balkan music, jazz and rock into universal and timeless textures. The performance includes songs from his album “The Origin of Words”, which presents settings of poems by Nathan Alterman, Pablo Neruda and Federico García Lorca, as well as new works composed especially for this Oud Festival performance.
