Oud Festival -Added by popular demand
      Dudu Tassa & Jonny Greenwood:
      Jarak Qaribak جارك قريبك

Acclaimed and successful musician Dudu Tassa and award-winning composer and guitarist Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead, The Smile) in a joint performance. The performance will feature songs from their album "Jarak Qaribak", in which the two reinterpret classic Arabic love songs from the Middle East with male and female singers from various countries in the region (Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and more). The performance will also include songs from the new chapter of their joint project and from the albums of “The Kuwaitis”.
The collaboration between the two artists began when Tassa opened for Radiohead on their U.S. tour, after releasing his album “Dudu Tassa and the Kuwaitis”, which paid tribute to the work of his grandfather, Daoud Al-Kuwaiti, and his brother Saleh, who were born in Iraq and became among the greatest and most important musicians in the Middle East in the 1940s.
The artists will be accompanied by an ensemble of leading musicians and vocalists from Israel and around the world, making the performance one of the most sweeping and mesmerizing events in the history of the Oud Festival.
