      On Her Own

      לבדה

A monodrama by Moshe Malka and Tehila Yeshayahu-Adghe

An Israeli woman of Ethiopian origin seeks the perfect mate and searches the internet. The search for the prince of her dreams conveys in a humorous way the reality of her complex life in Israel, her longings for the simplicity of Ethiopia and the story of her marriage to and flight from an abusive husband. A raw, daring and ironic monolog whose heroine shares with the audience her piercing examination of her life and search for love.

Co-written and directed by Moshe Malka

Co-written and acted by Tehila Yeshayahu-Adghe

Stage design and costumes Albert Yeshinsky

      Music Nadav Vishinsky

Supported by Ministry of Culture, Jerusalem Foundation, Jerusalem Municipality, Beracha Foundation
