The manifestations of this creativity are rich and numerous, providing an exceptional look at the great tradition and multifaceted heritage of the Ethiopian community—both in Ethiopia and here in Israel. The Hullegeb Israeli-Ethiopian Arts Festival, now being held for the 12th year by Confederation House, provides a special and important opportunity to become acquainted with this culture’s music, dance and theater. The fascinating combination that the Festival achieves: of original Israeli elements and great artists from Ethiopia and elsewhere, and veteran artists and new talent, promises Festival guests a moving and unique experience.
