An encounter of fathers and sons, ancient and modern lands and cultures. Eliyahu Digmi, among the pioneers of ethnic music in Israel and a saz, baglama and guitar player, together with his son, drummer and percussionist David in an encounter with Ronny Avrin, percussion artist, together with his son, bass player Daniel. Digmi the father refers to the musical foundations of this encounter as Shem, Ham and Japhet. Shem: the varied maqam tradition; Ham: the world of rhythm and inner movement; Japhet: the structure and harmonic and electronic framework. The encounter brings the depth and complexity of the connection between father and son through sound, naturally and joyfully.
