An encounter between fathers and sons, between countries and between ancient and modern cultures. Eliyahu Digmi, a pioneer of oriental music in Israel and a saz, baglama and guitar player, together with his son, drummer and percussionist David Digmi, will meet Ronny Avrin, percussion artist, together with his son, bass player Daniel Avrin. Digmi the father calls the musical roots of this encounter: Shem, Ham and Japhet. Shem: Torah and the tradition of the makamat; Ham: the world of rhythm and inner movement; Japhet: the structure and the harmonic and electronic envelope. This is an encounter that occurrs naturally and joyously and expresses through sound the depth and complexity of father-son relations.
