Worth an Evening
The series is a tribute to ten contemporary poets and writers who have and continue to influence contemporary Hebrew poetry. The influence of these writers is evident in their poetic idiom and content, a source of inspiration and influence upon young Hebrew poets.
The first evening that opened the series was a tribute to the poet Israel Eliraz. Subsequent evenings will be dedicated to poets who challenged the limitations of the poetic idiom and boldly devoted themselves to topics of major significance. Among them, Zali Gurevitch, Nurit Zarchi, Agi Mishol, Tamir Grinberg and Ronny Someck.
