The quartet of artist, poet and kamanja player Yagel Harush attempts to reconstruct one of the ancient and moving rituals of night song—tikun hatzot. This is shirat bakashot on closeness, redemption of the soul, the nation and the world. Alongside psalms, lamentations and bakashot, the quartet will also perform new and original piyyutim from the Diwan of Yagel Ben Yaakov—Songs for Midnight. These piyyutim written by Harush, were specially created for tikun hatzot. Together, they form a source for a modern tikun hatzot.
